Sunday Evening House Churches

A foundational time of community at Mars Hill occurs during our Sunday evening house church gatherings. During these times, we share a meal, enjoy a time of praise & worship, and open sharing on what God is doing in our life. This unique time is truly a family event that all are welcome to. Wednesday Service - 6:30 pm

Mars Hill Church holds a Wednesday evening service the first three Wednesdays of the month.  We meet in our newly renovated building just 10 blocks east of downtown Iowa City. The service includes a time of contemporary praise, prayer and worship followed by bible based teaching on relevant topics.

Prayer Meetings - Daily

Service Projects - Saturdays

Another mission of Mars Hill church is to love and serve the community by laying our lives down through serving. We regularly organize service projects, such as volunteering at community events, helping church members in need, cleaning up the neighborhood surrounding our building, and any other way to serve that we can get our hands on. Small Groups - Weekly

A deeper and more intimate level of accountability and fellowship occurs in small group meetings throughout the week. Many members meet in a small group setting to encourage and pray for each other. Small groups make it a priority to be immersed in the Bible and to be learning and hearing from God. Contact us to find out more about small group times and locations.
